Wood Type Numbers
These large prints were created during one of my trips to the Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum in Two Rivers, WI. They were created using some of the largest wood type the museum has on hand. The different effects were achieved by randomly applying the ink with a hand brayer and then splashing or rubbing small amounts of solvent to the wood type before printing.
